Even with the risks, many America citizens are opting for the jobs because they can earn a lot of money. Of course, you can just as easily die on the road here in the United States, but the stakes are not as high. Accepting a truck driving job in Iraq exposes you to possible terrorist attacks. Yet, many people cannot resist the $100k annual salary that comes along with the risks. I guess if you and your family are struggling in the States, taking a job in a war zone is worth it to provide for your family.
