No one ever said that life was a picnic. Well neither is bodybuilding. It all comes down to progression, performance and persistence. The idea of progression is simply about pushing yourself into new ground, going into areas that you may not have gone before, and demanding more of yourself through your routine than ever before. Performance relates to each bodybuilding exercise, where every rep and poundage increase should be earned by true effort and real strength. No cheating on technique just to add a few pounds to the iron, you will only be fooling yourself. Persistence is a matter of mind set, not only should you never give up, you should never think about giving up, never, ever, ever.

Like many Nashville natives, I am a diehard Nascar fan. It’s not just the races, it’s spending time with my brothers watching races, following Nascar News, and meeting people wherever I go who I have something in common with. Today, watching the race at my favorite bar, is what it’s all about for me. Spending time with my brothers and friends, betting on our favorite drivers, and just making good memories…things like that are why Nascar is so much more than just racing for me. Someday, I hope my sons will be able to build memories like me and brothers do, even if it’s not over Nascar.

Most tennis players adjust their positions just before they serve. Why do they do it? The reason is simple – They wish to get their serve in the best place possible. A place of no return! No tennis strategy of your opponent would work. You would thus need to have your left foot placed ahead of the right, of course if you are a right hander. Align your feet in a straight line to the prospective place where you wish the ball to go. For a change from time to time, you could bend your back if you desire the ball to go to a place where the opposition least expects it.

I have been looking into getting my son a new toy. He has been asking for a pellet gun since last Christmas, but I am just not comfortable enough with getting him something like that. However, I have heard about airsoft guns, and how they are a great replacement to pellet guns. The more research I did, the more I realized that you could get some really cool stuff. I even found some Electric airsoft guns that have some amazing power. Even more power than the pellet guns that I was going to get. I think he’ll have no problem with the airsoft guns.

I and ran into an old boyfriend at the restaurant where my friends and I were celebrating my fiftieth birthday. My ex was astonished at my slim, toned and very young appearance. He and I had known each other when I was twenty pounds overweight and pretty dowdy looking. The day I turned forty-nine I finally decided to get fit and began a weight lifting program. In no time I had the body I’d always wanted and that led me to do a total makeover of my looks. I continued my exercising faithfully and, by the time I was fifty, I was delighted to astonish my not-very-pleasant ex, who had always called me chubby. Looking good is the best revenge.

While at the local golf course each weekend, I have been noticing that a lot of the blokes there tend to wear what I would call genuine golf trousers. I haven’t been golfing that long, but I have come to love the sport and I want to get a little more serious about it in general. I have to admit that it would be nice to have some of those kinds of trousers to golf in. I have heard that they are designed to be more comfortable than your average slacks, like the ones I tend to wear on the greens.
