One of the most well known gun laws in the United States is the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act of 1993. When President Bill Clinton signed The Brady Bill — as it is more commonly referred — in to law, it became the fourth of only 6 Federal gun control laws in existence in the United States today. The bill gets its name from former White House Press Secretary James Brady who was shot during the 1981 attempted assassination of then President Ronald Reagan. It took almost 10 years for the bill to finally pass and become law; its major provision is the addition of a waiting period before any firearm is purchased from a dealer or manufacturer.

There are many adults that are doing science projects every day in an attempt to invent a new product, improve and existing one, or even things like the electric or water (hydrogen) driven vehicle, but science is not just for adults. Kids have a great deal of fun in science fairs by creating science fair projects as well as new inventions. It is a great way to tap into the creative brain and network those creative energies with intellectual concepts. As a kid I learned a great deal about chemistry thanks to my projects. I found the classes a bit boorish but the science projects brought the concepts to life in a way that was fun and educational, not to mention memorable.

I know when it comes to these books, I am very glad they are made. The reason that is, it is because I obviously don’t know every single number in the book and I need help finding them. Phone books are a very great thing. I always wondered how hard it is to create a book. I mean first of all take in to consideration how many residential numbers are used, let alone all the businesses. I wonder if there is anyone out there that has ever counted how many numbers are in the phone book all together. You would have to be extremely bored to do that.

I have decided that I really should take more advantage of the resources I have on hand rather than spending money that I don’t need to. I am going to start using the phone book search engines online to get numbers rather than always calling directory assistance and paying, even though it doesn’t cost all that much per call. It does seem to add up. I never keep business phone numbers handy, and I really need to start doing this so I don’t have to keep looking them up. But at least if I look them up I should do it online so it doesn’t cost me anything extra.

Watching a friend’s wife tearing her hair out when trying to get her wedding organized reminded me about the same process that I had been through. One of the saving moments came when another friend suggested that I purchase a book on planning a wedding on your own. Hiring a planning expert was out of the question and seeing my future wife all stressed out wasn’t very pleasant. I made the purchase and it proved to be a small investment that paid off big time. The planning timeline made the whole process very easy and just one of the tips that we picked up on saved us thousands on the catering expenses.

Recently I was in a car accident that has placed me on disability for an extended length of time. While I have always enjoyed working on the computer I decided to do a little searching to see if there is anything that I can do on line and from home on the computer that will give me a new adventure in life. I have been looking at an online animation art degree but I am wondering how much work can be done in this type of career just from home. At some point I am sure someone will need to see me do my work in person.
