On Tuesday morning I slipped and fell at the Jacuzzi near where I live and broke my two front teeth. I have never had so much as a cavity in my life and I was in extreme pain. When I got home I immediately made an emergency appointment with my dentist. When I got to the dentists office I immediately took a seat and started reading a magazine. I noticed they had two large plasma TVs playing Kim Kardashian videos. I also noticed one of my friends from the club sitting across from me. We got to talking about our problems with our teeth.

When I was a kid, my favorite movie was Pete’s Dragon. I can’t really explain to you why. There were just so many things that were going on while I would watch it. My parents loved it just as much as I did. We would go out and get doughnuts and cider, and then come home and watch it. After we lost of VCR, I had no way to watch the movie anymore. My dad got an Ares account so we could download it, and he sent it to me on DVD for Christmas this past year. It was one of the best gifts ever.

The era of my childhood saw some very bright, interesting, and in retrospect, sometimes embarrassing trends in footwear. Take for example, rainbow flip flops and jelly shoes. One shoe trend that was wildly popular with just about everybody was high top sneakers. Now Vanessa and Angela Simmons have brought back the fun of high top sneakers in their Pastry Shoes collection, and probably in a far more colorful way than high tops ever were before. The Pastry collection features regular sneakers, too, but the Pastry high tops look so sweet they just might put you into a sugar overload. From Blueberry Ice to Strawberry Banana Secret Sundae, there’s a shoe to satisfy anyone with a sweet tooth for deliciously cute high tops.

Just so I’m clear, I do love the Internet and use it to find everything from new shoes to old phone numbers. When I want to really dig and get hard-to-find information, the World Wide Web is the place to go. But I never really gave up using Phone books, even though I can go online and get the same basic data. To me there is just something comforting about taking out the big volumes and running my finger down a list until I get to a name and number. I suppose it’s the same reason I still hand-write addresses in my personal address book. Somehow it just seems a little more neighborly and personal.

About a year ago I asked one of my young co-workers where I could find songs online. He began throwing around terms like bit torrent and peer-to-peer. I was confused but, once he translated, I understood that I could download files which other users had placed on websites, for sharing. The first site I went to was so complex I got discouraged, and the second didn’t have the content I needed. Recently I decided to give ares a try. I loved the site layout and quickly found the music files I’d wanted. I’m glad I decided to give this P2P thing another try.

I have been trying to get interested parties in my properties, but haven’t had a lot of luck. I don’t have time to do the selling. I hired a lead generation service and they have done wonderful. Lead generation for property managers is just that: they do the hard selling for you to your clients, then text you the interested client information. When you call these clients back, you will find they have some questions, but other than that the hard selling has been done and they are truly interested. You just have to spend your time closing the sale.

Just over four months ago a site named Swoopo emerged on the scene. There was nothing else like it at the time, and noone knew what to make of this site that dubbed themselves as Entertainment Shopping.
Currently there are numerous sites like it. So how do these entertainment sites work? They are basically auctions which charge bidders for each bid they make. Because of this, the auctions usually end for anywhere from 5-95% off the items retail value. This means that Flat screen TVs that ordinarily sell for $2000 a piece, often go for only $50-$100. The profit for the auction company comes from the fact that each and every bid that is made pockets them money.
