How many free instant credit reports can I get?
I know that according to the official law I’m entitled to just a single free report every year. But does that affect the number of free instant credit reports unable to get if I go through different services that offer the reports separate from whatever the government requires? I don’t think it should, but you never know because whenever the government passes a law that you think is going to be helpful to consumers, they usually put something in it that winds up benefiting their big corporate donors. I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt this time, but maybe I shouldn’t.
