Reputation is a very important factor to consider in choosing a Forex broker. To check the reputation of a particular Forex broker, you can conduct a quick survey of other Forex traders.
You can substantiate your findings by conducting an online research of the Forex broker in question. A good way to avoid being scammed by a bogus Forex broker is to make sure that it is registered at the Futures CommissionMerchant (FCM) and that it is controlled by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
If a Forex broker is supported by these two entities, then you can be sue that it is legitimate.
