First coverage
The thought struck me in my "marriage and the family" class. We were discussing budgeting and the need for insurance came up. Did I have insurance on my belongings. Was there such a thing as a halls of residence student insurance policy? At home I was always covered under my parent’s policy but now I was attending the university and practically on my own. I called my parents and I called E & L Insurance. Both confirmed that I had no personal property coverage while living in the hall. It was not an expensive proposition to get the needed coverage so I am now the proud owner of my first insurance policy.
